MEAN WORDS DON'T MEAN SHIT

I was young, naive you could say,I would let kids call me names all day, A dot for every-time I’ve been called a hoe.Words thrown about me felt like a nasty blow.Ive been told I’m every word in the rainbow,You too? Raise your hand up, let em know!Theses words don’t mean shit, ZERO.   I was young, naive you could say,I didn’t defend myself, I had nothing to say.The nasty words were beginning to drain me hollow.I’d go home, think to my self “What’s the point of tomorrow?”Thoses words dragged me through great deep depth. If I got one [of few] thing to say to my younger self;To be strong isn’t just physically, little willow.Think rationally, don’t fight back, lay low.Mean...

CAUGHT UP IN KNOTS

CAUGHT UP IN KNOTS You’re life- you call the shots. If I have one advice; don’t get caught in too many knots. Stay calm if someone’s done you wrong, Walk away with your head high and say: “so long.” Ever heard the term justice prevails? It's 'cause in the end the truth is always unveiled. No need to be spiteful, aim to do good, be better. It’s better to serve revenge as success, on a silver platter.   Focus on yourself, you own thoughts and actions Live with an open heart and watch the domino reaction. With a different outlook, life takes a different form. So today, smile at a stranger or pay a coffee for an elder. When you do...

NO NEED TO WEEP DEAR WILLOW

NO NEED TO WEEP DEAR WILLOW   Let me tell you bout a time that wasn’t so dreamy, All when like wasn’t so peachy. You feel alone? I did to, so ditto. I was there, not that long ago.   When it all started? That’s kind of hazy. Fitting in aint easy peasy, Others pickup when you feel uneasy. I feel like I was thrown in, like I wasn’t ready.   Kids talk, like a game of telephone. Made up stories, twisted, a rumour cyclone. Messages coming in, blowing up my phone. Meanwhile? I was all alone. What to say, what to do? At the time, I had no clue.   The words kept storming in,  It was the first...
